Mixing Instructions and Tips

When mixing our glow-in-the-dark pigments, keep the following guidelines in mind:

Mixing Ratio: We recommend starting with 1, 25 gram bag of pigment per sprayable quart of clear base.
Clear Mediums: Designed to work best when mixed in an oil or solvent based clear coat.
Water Based Coats: While they will mix with water based clears, some of our customers have had difficulties, so we recommend an oil or solvent based clear for best results.
Siphon Feed Gun Tip: Always agitate your gun when using this product, and add marbles to the paint cup of your siphon feed paint gun to help keep the product suspended and to avoid clogging.

It is also important to remember that all of our Neon glow pigments tend to fade when exposed to direct sunlight, and they require UV top coats for outdoor applications, so when you are planning for these projects, keep this in mind.
