Using Our Thermochromic Pigments Effectively

To ensure the best possible results when working with our Red Thermochromic Paint Pigment, you must keep the following in mind when designing your projects:

Base Coat: Use a white or light base coat to get the most dramatic and eye-catching transformation.
Mixing: Mix the powder into a reducer, and let it sit for at least 24 hours before mixing it with your clear coat.
UV Protection: Because this product has a low tolerance to UV rays, be sure to protect the finish by using a clear coat with a high UV resistance, such as our Wet Wet Plus Clear.
Layering: You can also enhance the UV protection by adding a layer of our ghost pearls or chameleon pearls over the thermochromic pigment.
Warranty: Because of their unique nature and susceptibility to environmental conditions, we do not provide a warranty on thermochromic paint.

Important note: our thermochromic pigments are not designed for prolonged outdoor use, without proper UV protection.
